This is a product of a couple of hours, sitting infront of a computer screen tweeking over and over, and guess what it was a free shoot. umm how nice. well after this i dont think i will be providing any heavy duty free photo editing esp if i feel like i wont get to be advertised ......Enjoy

ok so i had the pleasure of working with this lovely model (Jenna Hale)- our connection was made over the infamous Modelmayhem, and she came to memphis all the way down from nashville.
i knew from the start that i wanted to recreate my goldleaf image and she was just the model to do this. jenna was easy to work with and i had no problem capturing this shot.

love those alter ego's huh...well here's another and much more to come. i like this photo, but i rushed it some. so its not as well perfected as it could be. (as far as the lines of the mask, and the realism of it.) but i got the idea from a tv show i watching and i wanted to do so ASAP. The model is my mother, the beauty. lol. she likes to take photos so anytime i need a quick model have her in my fingertips.lol.

Alter Ego

so i reallly the term alter ego is getting played out to me. i have known about that technique way before it was premiered to the general public on Bravo's Atlanta housewives by Mr. Blanks

I have to think of some thing else to call em cuz not all the time they "alter ego". just a double composite shot of u interacting with yourself.

i see people are really liking to do these photos. so who am i not to satisfy their hunger....lol

This is Singer Dawn A. former member of P.Diddys group Danity Kane of Making the band. Now currently singing apart of the group "Dirty Money"..yea. well i found this image online sometime ago and thought she needed to be spruced up some. lol....she seemed whats the word/...ummmm oh yea DRY. well i heart Dawnny Dawn dun from the bottom so this was only out of fun and slight boredom...i do celebs like this from time to time.---------- i mean its only More than M.E-------------------

this photo is work i did for a Hair stylist. HAIRCANDYBYTRACEY.COM
She would take photos of her clients hair and she had several images she wanted to post on her website. So she came to me for my services lol . so i cleaned up the backgrounds and actually did a skin refresh as well i see. just more before and after.

MAKINGS OF M.E

I can do wholesome family photos. i wanted to post some examples for people not familiar with my work and/or with how photos start out. Half the time i feel like people look at a photo and be like oh how nice or how cute or cool. And i dont think they really dont understand all the Artistic creativity that has to come from me (the photographer) all the way to the complete details.
Half the time i have to envision how its goin to look before i even snap one click .. then u put in the hours into sitting infront of a computer screen look at the same person or thing for a long ass time...lol. yea i have learned why it is a big business and why most charge so much to produce such great shots..(shout out D.Blanks)
But this is just a baby photo of course, as u can see. Which i have replaced the background with a common windows sample pic. This is a very simple and basic replacement technique nothing to fancy....but u have to know what ur doing to make it look nice. Its not just cut out around it like in paint. lol..(shout out to exe.Paint)
I will be posting several more of these before and after examples of my work so that those of you stopping by to see how i do....will get a better understanding of Finished and Unfinished photos. Yea it is More Than M.E --------------------

Stevie Shotwell-------THIS GIRL IS AMAZING....I LOVE HER LOOK AND HER STYLE. During our shoot i had to give no direction, always a plus...lol. I ran across her on the site Model Mayhem and i was geeked that she was avail to shoot. Although it was very impromptu...she was all about it. Keep a look out i hope to shoot again with her.

BIO-HAZARD???

This photo is just something i was playing around with. It was just a extra from a photoshoot i did of myself and i thought i would revisit it and play around with some new brushes i never used. To me this image makes me think of a bio chemical hazard of some type. i like the orange in my face and the green smoke lingering around. i like the tattoo look of it as well...almost gives me oil splattered on me. I just really like this photo i dont know why. hmmm. ----MORE THAN M.E

its been a few days...well weeks since my last blog and im sorry to dissapoint...lol, but i have not had access to internet 1. and 2. my computer has been out sick with some kinda virus. well im using one of my good friends computer just to post something. i miss bloggin.
As you can see im just rambaling on about nuthing...hince the title. I honestly have nothing to say, report or update with. well i could blab about other lives and the things goin on with them, but this isnt that kinda blog...lol. im KICKING AND SCREAMING as i type this due to lack of a interesting topic.
but i did wanna say does anyone remember these candies i was just thinkin bout them the other day and how no one i know eats them any more...and u cant find them in a reg conviencnce store u have to go to the candy lady to get em.

I have to feature this art gallery i went to this past weekend. There was a lot of coolness in there. A variety of styles. (Chris Bell ) The artist that was in the gallery at the time, showed me and my bff some of his work, and i was so inspired. Sometimes i wonder why i even stopped creating canvas pieces. But as i type this i have a piece or two in the making. The name of the gallery is Rivertown Gallery on main st in downtown memphis....right by the trolley tracks. nice lil shop.

Myrna Summers

I've had the pleasure to shoot the headshots for gospel artist- Myrna Summers-. Knowing Ms. Summers since i was a little boy, she became a valued part in my life. It was a honor to photograph a woman who has a Awesome light and beautiful personality.
Recently, The International Gospel Music Hall Of Fame (IGMHF) has announced Ms. Summers is a 2009 inductee along with– Bishop T.D. Jakes, BeBe Winans, Willie Mae Ford Smith, Bill “The Mailman” Martin and Wyatt T. Walker. The induction and awards ceremony will be held in Detroit, MI on Saturday, October 31st. This year marks the 13th anniversary of the organization. For more details, visit http://www.igmhf.org.

Behind the Scenes---Tatted Up by Ian

This week, i did a photo shoot for a Major tattoo artist here in the city of Memphis, By the name of Ian . *** Twyla's Tattoo Shop on Mt.Moriah and Ridgeway by the Appletree Court*** i'll repost the exact address and website when i get it. He wanted some promo shots that basically captured him working, BTS (behind the scenes). So i thought i would post some of the shoot pics of my BTS....of his BTS..lol....interesting i know. The model (CT) was actually getting a real tattoo at the time- not pretend...u can see it in her face. lol...she is a trip. Overall, The shoot went well it was a quick hour and half or so. Shoots like that really arent that fun for me..but he has a cool swag and real personable so it made the shoot go smoothly. Being in that atmosphere sparked interest in me to do a tattoo or two. I wonder if i could apprentice there..lol. I still got the drawing skills down pac...thats where it all started from. We also created a Promotional Video as well (soon to be posted).

Thank you to all those who have supported me and encouraged me to continue to do great things. My Family has giving me overwhelming support. I want them to know i really appreciate it and I only want to make them proud.

To my FRIENDS, they come around very rarely for me now days..lol..but the ones i do have, I THANK YOU. i have some really good friends that have also supported me and gave me the encouragements. some have even got in front of my lens. I will always keep you in mind and i Thank you for jumping on the band wagon without question.
